How to Market a Small Business with a Limited Budget

This question and answer originated from Episode 3 of the #AskGaryVee program!

Concern: What do you recommend for small companies with limited marketing budgets?

Answer: When you’re hustling and you have actually restricted budget, you might think you remain in problem, but truthfully, the best way to close that monetary space is to work more difficult. You require a little additional hustle when you’re limited. Put the TELEVISION remote down and work a little harder, for a little longer. Tactically, this depends on business, however organisation development is always the way to go. Hustle. Knock on doors. Spread your message. With a limited budget plan, time is truly you’re only possession. My guidance? Spend more of it working.

For my small business, Shillingford, an apparel company. We’ve found that cross promoting with other businesses makes things easier as well. So you can hashtag and tag more relevant things along with having more companies posting the same content.

Probably one of my favorite question of the #AskGaryVee  show so far #HumbleBrag  . Hustle, Network, Work 2-3 extra hours per day, Rinse, Repeat until desired result is achieved. Got it. Thanks Gary for taking the time to do your show, I get an enormous amount of value.

yes. I have a Culinary & Hospitality degree from Paris, France. I own one of the best web agency in South Florida #HumbleBrag   (http://www.adminesolutions.com/) – Go figure right? You’ll need a great team and huge amount of hustle. Go get’em tiger. Oh and I would look for people that’ll tell you it can’t be done. Just for motivation and the pleasure of proving them wrong…;-)

David Napoleon Powell Some of the best businesses were started that way. Mark Zuckerburg didn’t have experience in social networking (Facebook), Elon Musk didn’t have experience in electric vehicles, and online payments (PayPal, Tesla), Travis Kalanick didn’t have experience in on demand car services (Uber). Learn as you go, ask tons of questions. Ask owners of similar businesses. Keep learning, keep making adjustments. Good luck!

Great point! Putting in the extra hours pays off in the long run! What’re your thoughts on using video, in 2017, to grow small businesses?

This sounds like a critical point. Trying hard right now. I feel like I’m sprinting at mile one of the marathon when I should be training or at least pacing it out since it’s so early. Maybe even micro speed in the VERY VERY beginning isn’t such a great idea?
